Running

Running away from all of the problems in life
As if falling in the sky, freezing and abandoned
Moving my head to the beat and listening to the words
Love in my heart yet depression and hatred in my face
Confused about this and that, running from here to there

Always escaping, my feelings forbidding me to stop, out of breath, pitch black and alone
Seeking help from him and her
The thought of being avoided, stuck in the back of my mind
Emotions in and out

Walking under the city lights
My eyes racing back and forth
Not watching where I am going
BAM
My body flies into the air
My life flashing before my eyes
