School

Monday through Friday
I awake early in the morning
While the sun is still sleeping
As I rise from my warm bed
The cold envelops me
Like my warm blanket had seconds before
I hop into clothes
Then I walk down stairs
To find myself staring at a warm breakfast
Lastly I get my brain prepared
For this painful thing
We call “school”
