Never Lasting Seasons

         The way it snows upon,
once sunny streets
the way the trees of green
turn to brown,
that once warm ground
frosts around,
like the skies that can turn to grey,
once a very sunny day
now is left to rain away.

         As the seasons change,
so can those
people with their freezing toes,
some might say people never change,
but now I much better know
that people change,
like the trees
and like the rain.
