Everything Has Changed

A lot of things are different now
Yeah, a lot has changed
Everything is new now
Nothing's stayed the same

I have brand new friends
But, they go by the same names
All the rules are different now
It’s like a brand new game

It’s not always easy to navigate
Still trying to make my way through
I know I’m not always right
Sometimes I question what I do

It’s hard to accept it
It’s hard to let go
It’s all I ever knew
But no longer what I know

It’s hard to say it doesn’t hurt,
It doesn’t cut me deep inside
Things have been crazy
I’ve had an interesting ride

I don’t know where it will end
Or where I will be
But I pray to God that When it's done,
You’ll still be next to me
