Flashing Lights

Enter the room already with excitement, nervousness, and disbelief
Seats filled with people throughout the theatre
Crazy fans in the middle of it all

The feeling of falling
Back in the seat, before hearing the beat
Of the monster…Lady Gaga

Surrounding the theatre are the imitations of the true diva herself
This is enough
Waiting is not an option

The lights dim, the crowd stands, and her voice arrives
“Hello my little monsters”
Spandex and geometrical sparkles behind my eyes
The lights flash and I hear a bash
Of screaming fans, yelling for their favorite singer to dance

“Gaga in the room, so starstruck”

On the stage, watching her perform with enthusiasm
Letting nothing get in the way of her dream
That she turned into reality

Hours passed and she says goodbye
“I’m so happy I could die”
The crowd moves toward the exit
The one and only disappears off the stage

My voice was lost, but the moment of flashing lights will never be forgotten
But to be seen again
