Dream for the Future

A white picket fence with grass all around,

Asking for mommy is a common sound.

White wood, red shutters, and a sign on the door,

Indicating a family is now in store.

The scent of fresh baked cookies fills the air,

Empty tummies are only found in a time of despair.

He walks through the door, "Honey I'm home!"

An ear-to-ear grin for a beloved husband is shone.

Planning Disney- themed parties for an eager young lady,

Little boy picks up a football, the next Tom Brady.

Curling up by the fire on a cold winter's day,

The little ones settle on the rug to play.

My dream for the future which I hope for and pray,

Is to be a wife and a mother someday.
