Pounding Rain and Pounding WInd

Pounding rain and pounding wind,
slapping against the window.
Nature has its own mind,
uncontrollable in every shape and form.
Are the angels crying?
Are they shedding tears of joy?
There are so many questions
that we have yet to answer.
There are so many questions
that we will never answer.
Sometimes it’s better not to know,
so that you can pretend that the
pounding rain and pounding wind,
is just the angels crying.
