My life is like a road map

I start at the beginning
And gradually find my way

From high points in the mountains
To feeling low in the valleys
Gradually I find my way

Through difficult times in rough terrain
Through smooth sailing on the open ocean
Gradually I find my way

From fast paced times on the highway
To lackadaisical times on busy city roads
Gradually I find my way

Through confused times at intersections
Through comprehensible times on open roads
Gradually I find my way

I end at my destination
An extraordinary trip
And I have finally found my way
