Night has come
Sleep sets in
The dreams begin
Dreams of the possibilities of tomorrow
Could I taste the sweet victory of acing a test
Or could I experience the euphoria of soaring into space
Could I conquer a mountain and breathe the light crisp air,
Or will I save the world?
And still finish my English essay.
Will I create a time machine?
Or simply reinvent the wheel
Dreams reveal the endless possibilities
Of a new day
And then I awake .
