The Endless Dream

My skates become wings and I can fly,

Letting go I can reach the sky.

Throughout the years the feeling of soaring becomes familiar,

Skating and flying are actually quite similar.

My passion is fire burning brighter than the sun,

Surely this sport has become more than just fun.

Carrying away to a place of endless dreams,

My hopes remain as powerful as the sun’s shining beams.

The sun whispers inspiration in my ear,

Clearing the path of sorrow and fear.

On top of the world, there’s nothing in my way,

Slipping away from my troubles,

It’s a glorious day.

Some imagine the feeling of a dream come true,

From up here in the sky I have an endless view.
